The Union des Industries Textile Champagne-Ardenne

Professional organization of the textile and clothing

The Union des Industries Textiles Champagne-Ardenne, a professional organization of the textile and clothing industry, federates companies of the territory, represents them and accompanies them in all the challenges that our industrial companies face. To work on energy, industrial and digital transitions, the UIT Champagne-Ardenne is positioned in partnership with its regional partners, Syndicat Textile de l’Est and Pôle Textile Alsace, under the banner Textile Grand Est.

The organization cooperates with other regional organizations such as Unitex, UITH North or UIT South, national organizations such as the UIT Federation and the Federation of Knitwear, Lingerie and Swimwear but also the competitiveness clusters Techtera and Euramaterials. Locally, it also relies on its technical center, the IFTH.

Toutes ces cAll these cooperations allow it to be at the heart of transformation issues and to provide a very qualitative service to its members.

The UIT Champagne-Ardenne is also very involved in territorial actions such as the rehabilitation of textile hemp, the animation of the Pôle d’Excellence de la Maille 4.03 as well as the coordination of the Grand-Est Textile sector.

In 2017, UIT Champagne-Ardenne took over the animation of the Club Textile Intégral, a network of textile experts in Champagne-Ardenne, but also the organization of the CITEXT event, an international business convention for technical textiles and soft materials that is held every two years in Troyes. 300 professionals come to Troyes for qualified business meetings, promoting all technical applications of the textile industry.

This Business meeting is supported by the Textile-technique.com website, which highlights the skills of local companies in technical textiles.

The comprehensive and accessible information will allow buyers, sales representatives or engineers who are not experts in textile materials to clarify their requests and identify resource partner companies.

Finally, in order to meet the expectations of the apparel market, and to communicate and promote our members, we have set up a banner, Les Faiseurs de Maille, under which all the manufacturers in the sector are grouped. It is through this banner that we communicate on social networks but also on textile fairs to bring visibility to companies.
